Free Radical Test (Oxidative Stress)
Free radicals are highly unstable molecules that
interact with other molecules within cells, which cause what is known as
oxidative stress. This oxidation sets off a chain reaction of events that
damage cell membranes and genes, causing cell degeneration, which, in turn,
has a significant impact upon the aging process.
This test measures if your internal production of
antioxidants has become insufficient to neutralize and eliminate excessive
free radical activity. Too much oxidation and not enough antioxidant activity
will cause rapid or premature aging.
This is a very inexpensive, simple self-test that can be
performed periodically at home in just a few minutes. Lower oxidation means
slower aging. More about this test...
Heart Rate Variability Analysis
Computerized analysis of your heart rhythm -- a widely
accepted standard for measuring autonomic balance and aging.
Reflects your capacity for response, recovery, and
adaptation.
Measures levels of stress and your ability to handle
stress. Stress increases free radical activity.
Heart rate variability declines with age and illness and
increases as you achieve greater youthful vigor and higher states of wellness.
